Trip Introduction

Description

This untamed life hold is arranged in the extraordinary south-west of Nepal. The name of the recreation center is gotten from the biggest of meadows known as Sukla Phanta. Shukla Phanta National Park was managed as a hunting reserve at the beginning in1969. It has been gazetted as a Wildlife Reserve in 1976 Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve is 155 sq kms and will be 305 sq kms after the finishing of its expansion. Shuklaphanta, the country’s youngest national park, was established with the primary objective to conserve swamp deer. The national park currently hosts about 2,000 swamp deer (the single largest herd in the world), and an estimated 17 wild tigers.

Sukla Phanta’s meadow is one of the final environments for such compromised creatures as the hispid rabbit and the dwarf hoard. Other than these, Sukla Phanta is the fortress for another jeopardized creature the barasingha, or marsh deer.It lies in the extreme south-western section of Nepal’s Terai in Kanchanpur District. The National Park shares a common boundary with the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in the south and west which is formed by the Mahakali (Sarda)river, a major tributary of the Ganges. It is bordered on the eastern side by the Chaudhar River and to the north by a forest belt and cultivations. A total of 24 mammal species are recorded

Major Attraction

Other natural life of the recreation center included are seen deer found in huge numbers, hoard deer, nilgai, wild pooch, jackal, porcupine and so on. The recreation center and the abutting woodland is the region of few tigers. It isn’t extraordinary to locate these tigers out lurking in the shadows because of the open landscape. Wild elephants have likewise been located in the recreation center.

A stop at the Rani Tal would be an energizing background. This little lake draws in flying creatures and creatures alike.

The rivers, lakes, and ponds of the park house 28 species of fish, 12 reptiles, and amphibians. Also, a total of 424 bird species have been recorded which includes Bengal floricans, dusky eagle owl, great slaty woodpecker, chestnut-capped babbler, Sarus crane, rusty-tailed flycatcher, etc. From a close-by machan, one can watch a huge number of water fowl blending on the lake surface while several marsh deer brush at the water-edge at night light. Best suggestion to visit

  • Shuklaphanta revenues the national graff where the creatures troll like no other places. When it comes to its features the life shrug of impolite deers are very rare and its a life dream to chase any of the cusac of these wild animals.
  • Secondly there’s a lot for fun in wilderness typically driven and other fan activities riding on elephant back etc.
  • Always wear dull colors while on a safari so that you do not attract any unwanted attention. This will help you camouflage into your surroundings; hence, colors such as black, brown, gray, and tans are much better than bright colors such as red, yellow, and so on.
  • Since it is hot in Shulaphata, you should bring plenty of drinking water.
  • Indeed, you are in the middle of the dense forest; you will have several bushes and insects lurking around. Therefore, wearing comfortable shoes that cover your foot well and clothes that protect you is necessary.
  • Sunscreen is the most important when the sun is boiling high right there.
  • If you have the safari experience in winter, it is best to wear layers to keep you warm. Likewise, if you are out for the experience during monsoon, you must take a reliable raincoat with you.
  • Moving on, you should always be prepared for rashes and bites. Always carry a repellent and a natural bug spray.
  • An experience like this should be captured at the moment. Make sure you have a camera with a good lens and a binocular so you can zoom in to look into your background.
  • If you are on for the adventure, always ensure you have plenty of cash, as sometimes the ATMs charge you extra for the withdrawal.
